One of the advantages of attending SKYacademy is that you begin to integrate into a network of industry leaders who support you throughout launching your career. SKYacademy instructors are active private jet flight attendants who are well-connected within the industry and can aid in your success.

  • Most operators hire based on skills and ability to perform the requirements of the career. With that said, most private jets are 6-feet in height, so while there is no height requirement, you want to be able to comfortably walk throughout the aircraft.

Most operators will require you to be able to purchase alcohol requests, so a minimum age of 21 years old is preferred.

We have had students attend SKYacademy from all ages up into their 50s. Your success in landing a job within the industry depends more on your drive and dedication to securing a career in this field than on your age.

While there are no weight restrictions, you must demonstrate your ability to execute the career requirements of inflight safety and emergency procedures.

  • Our All-inclusive training consists of two parts; online training and practical training. The online training is comprised of 8 modules that can be completed at your own pace, from anywhere in the world. The practical training runs over a course of five days at our training facility in Santa Rosa, California.

  • Travel and accommodations are not included in the cost of SKYacademy, however, we do offer recommendations on nearby accommodation options and connect you with your classmates so that you can reduce expenses.

  • You do not need to relocate to become a SkyAngel. When launching your career, living in an area with private jet activity is best. Most metropolitan areas and international airports are significant areas to live near.

If you are unsure, research "private jet FBOs" (aka private jet terminals) in your area. If your local airport/s has FBOs located at them, you are in luck. If not, you may need to relocate to find work.
