There are so many exciting perks in this career, what do you love most about being a SkyAngel?
I am an explorer at heart, and truly enjoy and appreciate traveling to anywhere in the world. I love the new perspectives I get from engaging with people from other cultures, experiencing their traditions, delicacies, art, and much more. The beauty of this job is you never know where you’ll end up next! It is perfect to be able to do a job you truly enjoy while also being able to fulfill the desire to embark on adventures.
We fly with the world’s industry leaders and influencers. Their safety and satisfaction is of the utmost importance, tell us what kinds of special touches you love to do to ensure your guests have a delightful travel experience when they fly with you.
Not only am I well versed in food and beverage service, but I have been a massage therapist for 11 years and a yoga instructor for 3 years. I am very talented with these skills and have a full, loyal client base. What a nice addition a proper therapeutic shoulder massage is to a long flight. Lastly, I am a foodie, and enjoy preparing foods of all types, including vegan and gluten free foods.
As Flight Attendants within private aviation, working within the exclusive world of Private Aviation, we are lucky to have the opportunity to explore the world and go places others dream of seeing, what has been your most favorite destination(s) you have flown to and why?
One of my favorite destinations was Paris. I only got to spend three days there, but it was so full of art and rich foods. I walked everywhere and was engulfed in museums. I cannot wait to go back and spend more time in that gorgeous city.
As SkyAngels, we get to eat at some pretty amazing restaurants. What has been your favorite dining experience?
As a native Texan and and long term resident Angelino, I appreciate well-prepared Mexican food and a chic ambiance. One of my favorite restaurants, La Esquina, is extremely hidden in NYC. At first glance the place looks like a corner taco shop, however; with a secret password at the kitchen you are permitted to descend to the hidden downstairs brassiere. It is rustic and dimly lit with dripping wax candles, and has tasty tapas with even tastier margaritas. One of the best kept secrets in New York (shhhhh)! La Esquina, New York City, USA.
If a client is interested in booking you for a trip, which airports do you service? Are you willing to relocate for contract flights? Full-time positions?
The closest and most easily serviceable airports for me are LAX - VNY - SMO - SNA - BUR However, with advance notice, I am always willing to relocate at my client's request to their departure location for contract flights. For full-time positions I am available for Southern California based aircraft.
