The exciting life of a corporate cabin attendant
When it comes to working within private aviation, get ready! Every day is exciting and every day will challenge you. You will never stop learning, you will continue to grow and you will excel with hard work, dedication, and passion.
This is why I personally love this career and can not imagine doing anything else. I am NEVER bored. There are some days that challenge me so much I think, "I can't do this anymore" but then I ask myself, "what else could I possibly do that would allow me to travel the world, meet exciting people, and keep me out of the drudgery of corporate life?". The answer is nothing. Nothing else compares to the life of a cabin attendant in the world of private aviation. Nothing!
While your friends will sit in cubicles counting down the hours on a clock, you will sit on a private jet preparing the cabin and getting everything perfectly staged for your guests arrival. As soon as you are confirmed for a flight you will get into the mode and focus on what you can do to make your flight the best flight experience your guests have ever had. After all, if your goal is not to make every flight better than the last then how can you continue to improve and grow in your career? That's the life of a Certified SkyAngel - you will be taught and trained to always strive for the best.
Of course, just when you think everything is ready someone will throw a curve ball and you will be off rushing to pick up a special request or adjust your menu from breakfast to lunch. And since most airports are not surrounded by classy restaurants that would WOW your guests palates - creativity becomes a very powerful tool.
Finally, when your guests arrive, you will welcome them with a smile and a wave. Your guests will be none the wiser that you literally just finished running around like a chicken with its head cut off - because you are always beautifully poised and professional, getting the job done effortlessly without complaint or requirement of a pat on the back.
You will never get bored in this career because NO two days are alike. You will be challenged every day and pushed past your limits only to be rewarded by a job well done, that may go unnoticed by your guests but will make you feel proud that you executed a flawless flight experience for your guests.
